Business Generation Leader
It should come as no surprise that Blake Garnett is now a Business Generation Leader working in communications and client liaison Ray White Maguires One Team. In this role Blake delivers on the strategic values of Maguires One Team which involves connecting with clients and generating more business opportunities for the sales team. Originally from the Bay of Plenty, Blake’s parents are both highly successful real estate agents in Tauranga, so the selling and the marketing of property is very familiar for him. After leaving school Blake studied science at the University of Auckland. While studying he was also working in the family real estate business assisting with prospecting, marketing, promotion and database management. A stint as an Executive Assistant with a property developer was an invaluable enhancement of his skill set around the systems and processes required for managing a busy property portfolio. Blake also spent nearly five years working for Waitemata Weather Link assisting in the preparation and launching of weather balloons to collect upper-air data for use in forecasting models and aviation reports – a specialised discipline that tapped into his keen interest in aviation. Tech-savvy Blake will be working on nurturing leads, building database systems, uncovering opportunities for the sales force and using his problem-solving skills to augment and further develop the already successful real estate services that the Maguires One Team enjoys. A keen sportsman and former national hockey player and umpire, he’s expecting to be co-opted onto the Ray White City Surf Series SUP team and loves a game of tennis and a round of golf when time allows.
